Goochland Sheriffs Foundation
The mission of the Goochland Sheriffs Foundation is to support community outreach activities and programs of the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office.

Additionally, the Goochland Sheriffs Foundation provides a resource for the Goochland County Sheriff's Office, where donations, goods or services can be received and disbursed for the benefit of the Office, without the appearance of impropriety, while furthering the goal of providing for the safety and well-being of all citizens of Goochland County.​​

​The Goochland Sheriffs Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2022 by a group of citizen volunteers. The Foundation is not part of the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and is not affiliated with any political party. The Foundation is governed by a board of directors and is managed by officers elected annually by the board of directors. A member of the Sheriff’s Office Command Staff serves as an ex officio member of the Board without a vote.
The Foundation is funded entirely by community support and donations. We host various fundraising events in coordination with the sheriff’s office's community outreach activities. All donations directly benefit the mission of the Goochland Sheriffs Foundation.
None of the Foundation’s directors, officers, or volunteers receives remuneration from the Foundation for their services.
